We weren’t designed to do life alone.
We often say it takes a village to raise a child – we can’t be all things to our children, but we can access a supportive community in order to raise our children in a healthy atmosphere and to preserve our own well-being.
But what about friendships? Have you considered how crucial friendship is in our village – not simply for support, but also to experience joy? We would say that we want our children to make friends as part of their social development and beneficial formative experiences. In the same way, friendships are important for each of us, for our mutual growth and well-being.
In this 8-week Discovery Course, young parents (ages 15-25) will learn how to make friends, how to spot and deal with toxic friendships, and how to grow healthy life-giving friendships.
It takes a village… and friends are an important part!
