Etobicoke Young Moms Leader
Katie is the volunteer leader at our Etobicoke Young Moms Group. Katie knows first-hand the unique and sometimes isolating struggle of being a young mother, having been one herself. Having experienced the life-altering impact of God’s grace, she feels called to share this, specifically with other mothers. She is passionate about bringing back a sense of “village” to parenting and is excited to see God work in and through the lives of the women attending and leading the South Etobicoke Young Moms group.
Katie lives in Mississauga with her husband, Greg, and three sons, Owen, Ethan and Cameron. She loves to read and wander.
Brampton Young Moms Leader
Sue has worked as a volunteer with our Brampton Young Moms group for over 12 years. She is a passionate mother to four, and now grandma to seven! When her own children were grown, she had an ache in her heart to continue to be a “mother” to others. After having a friend introduce her to the Brampton Young Moms group, it just seemed like a natural fit. After some time, Sue moved to volunteer leader.
Sue loves to bake and is an enthusiastic tennis player and golfer. Most of all, she loves to share her faith in Jesus and be a mentor to the young moms and other volunteers in the Brampton group.
