Loreli Cockram
Young Parents Director
Loreli Cockram is passionate about drawing out God-given abilities and gifts in others, building community, and discovering and communicating stories of hope.
In her role as Young Parents Director, Loreli applies each of these passions to cultivate a ministry that welcomes and supports young moms and dads and their children, and accompanies them on a journey toward wholeness.
Loreli lives in Etobicoke with her husband, John-Mark, who pastors at Runnymede Community church, and has two adult daughters, Mallory and Sophia.

Robert Gin
Young Dads Ministry Worker
Robert has journeyed with and mentored youth for over 20 years. He is passionate about building relationships with youth to guide them towards healthier lifestyles and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As a Young Dads Ministry Worker, he will do what he thrives on – mentoring – by providing whole-person support to youth. He also trains like-minded leaders to be volunteer mentors.
Rob is a graduate from Tyndale University College and Seminary with a Master of Theological Studies. Rob is married to Rebecca, and enjoys reading, eating, and running (in no particular order).

Emma Annesley
Young Moms Ministry Worker - Scarborough
Emma is new to our Young Parents team, but has been working in under-served communities in Toronto for over 12 years. She has several years’ experience journeying specifically with vulnerable young families in the Warden Woods (Scarborough) area.
As Scarborough Young Moms leader, Emma supports, encourages and walks with parenting young women, ages 15-25, on their journey towards health and wholeness and an identity rooted in Christ.

Lee Sommerfeldt
Durham Young Moms Program Lead
As the Young Moms Leader in Durham, Lee provides hope and help for pregnant and parenting youth in Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa and the surrounding area.
Lee brings her love and compassion for young people, her passion for parenting and her teaching experience to walk alongside young moms on their journeys of transformation.
Lee is a graduate of McGill University where she received a Bachelor of Education and met her husband Josh. They have three children, Sophie, Ben and Adam. She loves to be active and spend time with family and friends!

Stephanie Ironside
Etobicoke Young Moms Program Leader
Having experienced both the joys and struggles of being a mother, Stephanie journeys with pregnant and parenting teens and young adult women (ages 15-25). She is passionate about creating a village for what can be a very isolating time in a youth’s life. Her hope is to connect young moms with community that will enrich all aspects of their lives and build confidence in who they are in Christ.
Stephanie lives in Etobicoke with her husband Andrew, and two children Ruby and Gordon. Alongside Andrew, she has been serving in Etobicoke since 2013.

Angelica Hasicic
Brampton Young Moms Leader
As Young Moms Program Leader in Brampton, Angelica supports, encourages and shares the Gospel with parenting young women, ages 15-25, on their journey towards becoming transformative members of their community while having an identity rooted in Christ.
She is a graduate of Guelph University as well as the University of Toronto with a Masters in Teaching. Angelica and her husband Neil are parents to Maximilian Joseph.

Katie Ogiba
Discipleship Coordinator
Katie has been a volunteer leader at our Etobicoke Young Moms Group and has moved into a new role of Discipleship Coordinator, where she leads young parents more intentionally in spiritual mentorship and developing their faith. Katie knows first-hand the unique and sometimes isolating struggle of being a young mother, having been one herself. Having experienced the life-altering impact of God’s grace. She is passionate about bringing back a sense of “village” both for parenting and faith and is excited to see God work in and through the lives of those on their journey of faith.
Katie lives in Mississauga with her husband, Greg, and three sons, Owen, Ethan and Cameron. She loves to read and wander.

Maimunat Ajayi
Toronto Young Moms Leader
Maimunat Ajayi joined the Young Parents team as a Youth Unlimited Intern as she completed her Child & Youth Worker degree. Her education and experience during that time was invaluable and she has since moved into a volunteer associate role, leading our Toronto Young Moms group.
Maimunat is passionate about encouraging, equipping and empowering young moms so that they might become a transformative presence in their homes and communities.
